Piping, a line to live by
A stroke of colour that underlines the cut: in the workshop, piping is set by hand, inch by inch.

Piping has become UNÇÃO's signature. A discreet detail at first glance, yet one that calls for some of the most demanding work in garment making.
A gesture first
Each strip is cut on the bias, folded and slipped between two panels of fleece. The seam must stay perfectly even: one millimetre off and the line breaks.
We work with a São Paulo workshop that has mastered this craft for three generations. Finishes are checked piece by piece before shipping.
Colour as a landmark
Royal blue, navy, off-white: the piping colour changes every season but keeps the same purpose, drawing the silhouette without ever weighing it down.
